Overview
Meta partnered with rising NFL star Rome Odunze for a Chicago-based community activation highlighting Facebook Marketplace’s role in local buying, selling, and culture.
As Production Lead, I oversaw all on-the-ground logistics, vendor coordination, and talent management. The activation featured a custom mural designed for the neighborhood, interactive games, curated vintage giveaways sourced through Marketplace, food from local vendors, and a meet-and-greet session with Odunze.
The event delivered a high-energy, community-first experience that authentically connected the athlete, the platform, and local fans.
Results / KPIs
● Social Impressions: Multi-platform content from Meta, Odunze, vendors, and fans generated strong organic reach (estimated 250K–500K impressions)
● Engagement: High in-person turnout with strong community interaction around the mural, games, and meet-and-greet
● Very positive client feedback and alignment across all production and creative deliverables
