TikTok — VidCon 2023 Activations
Overview
At VidCon 2023 in Anaheim, TikTok delivered three large-scale activations built around the TikTok Galaxy, a creative universe where every creator is a star. As Production Support, I worked across all experiential and operational needs to help bring each activation to life.
Spaces included the Featured Creator Lounge, offering music, food, drinks, and interactive wellbeing experiences; the Digital Wellbeing Stargazer Lounge, featuring multi-sensory programming; and the Creator Track Lounge, a futuristic networking hub for top creators.
The weekend opened with TikTok’s massive Launch Party at the ARTIC Train Station, drawing over 1,000 guests and featuring a Galaxy Video Booth for custom content creation.
Results / KPIs
● Social Impressions: Creator content, TikTok posts, and attendee amplification generated 2M+ impressions across platforms
● Foot Traffic: TikTok’s Launch Party drew 1,000+ guests, with strong attendance and engagement across all activations
● Delivered three multi-day experiences that became premier creator destinations during VidCon
